Fleet Marine Life #108 – Two Black Belts
I love how all the Marines were trained to use deadly weapons to fight for war but for just some reason we’re not allowed to all get black belts. In order to even get a green belt, you have to achieve a certain rank or get a waiver. I mean, what kind of bullshit is this?
I was at this USMC barbeque (not a mandatory fun day) and I saw two drunk Marines playfully wrestling in the grass. Unfortunately, one of them twisted the other’s ankle to the point where he needed to go on light duty for 2 weeks.
The Marine Corps likes to punish 90% of the people for whatever the 10% has done or maybe will do. Even if the entire organization will benefit more than suffer, the higher ups will enact mass punishment.
In the future, I will talk more about MCMAP and how impossible it is to find a MCMAP instructor who is WILLING to teach you.
Gouging each other in the eyes since 1775.
Having studied martial arts for more than 10 years on the outside, I wanted to get my black belt in MCMAP. Twice I signed up for the green belt training.
Both times, on the day I was to become a real green-belted warrior, my squad leader (who failed to non-rec me for Cpl) said “the roster got messed up.”
Ooooh, that darn roster. If I’d gotten a green belt, I’d vertical-downward-thrust the shit out of it.
MCNinja is pointless….
I think it’s useful if you are a black belt instructor.
PROPAGANDA!
I real killer is a psycho with a .308 in a bell tower sniping!
the belt system changed so there are no more rank requirements, but it is still impossible to get a decent instructor.
Dude, your name is Kristallnacht? As in “The Night of Broken Glass”?
mcmap is a joke that isnt funny. it wastes your time wrestling around in a field learning useless techniques. worst of all it lets SNCO act like they’re badass because they got beat up at instructor school even though they’ve havent gotten a single marine a belt (im not counting the belts they hand out to their buddies)
